These are some nerdy and fun facts about me
- π« I come from Colombia π¨π΄
- πΌ I have 4 cats πββ¬πββ¬πββ¬πββ¬, and love drinking coffee β.
- I practice beach volleyball π and table tennis π. I also enjoy watching football β½.
- π€ Iβm a geological engineer and an amateur Python π developer. I hold a masterβs degree in Geotechnical Engineering, and Iβm currently doing a PhD in Engineering.
- π My current research is focused on landslides ποΈ hazard assessment, considering both rainfall π¦οΈ and earthquakes πͺ¨ as triggering factors.
- π I have studied block-in-matrix materials (bimrocks and bimsoils), especially the tortuous failure surface developed in these materials and its consideration in slope stability.
- I have worked in consulting as a geologist and geotechnical engineer π·ββοΈ. I have indoor experience in the office π§βπ» and lab π¨βπ¬ and have done a lot of fieldwork πΊοΈποΈβ°οΈ.
- π» I like developing open-source software for solving geological and geotechnical problems, but also as teaching tools π§βπ«.
- π€ Iβm looking for people to collaborate with on open-source development and research projects. All ideas π‘ are welcome!
