- πΌ I have 4 cats πββ¬ and love drinking coffee β.
- I practice beach volleyball π and table tennis π. I also enjoy watching football β½.
- π€ Iβm a geological engineer with a masterβs degree in geotechnical engineering and a PhD in engineering.
- π My current research focuses on slope stability π», landslide hazard ποΈ, rainfall thresholds β, and early warning systems π¦.
- π In my PhD, I studied landslides induced by earthquakes through the implementation of physics-based numerical frameworks at regional and local scales.
- π In my masterβs, I studied block-in-matrix materials (bimrocks and bimsoils), their tortuous failure surfaces, and their implication on slope stability.
- π·ββοΈ Iβve worked in consulting as an engineering geologist and geotechnical engineer.
- π» Iβm passionate about developing open-source software to solve engineering problems, but also as a teaching tool π§βπ«. I usually program in Python π, but I also have basic knowledge of R and Matlab/Octave.
